Patricia Demyan, M.S.W.
Director

Patricia earned a master's degree in social work from Syracuse University. She has been the director of the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program for more than 20 years. She is trained in short-term therapies and critical incident stress debriefing. In addition to her areas of special clinical interest including eating disorders, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, she is interested in preventive approaches to wellness and mental health in the workplace.

Susan Coman Smith, M.S.W.
Therapist

Susan earned a master's degree in Social Work from Syracuse University. She has 20 years of service with the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program. She uses an integrative therapeutic approach combining relational and cognitive behavioral theories with a systems perspective. Areas of special clinical interest include all life transitions, parenting, holistic health and issues of grief and loss. Susan coordinates and presents WorkLife programs for personal growth, well-being and family care for faculty and staff.

Lucille Murphy
Office Administrator

Lucille has been working at Syracuse University since 2005. She provides administrative support for FSAP. Lucille is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree.
