Supervisors and Managers

The FSAP is an important resource for supervisors and managers to assist them with staff and faculty who have job performance or behavioral problems or are seeking assistance with personal problems. The FSAP is a voluntary service that provides information, assessment, short-term counseling and referrals to help staff and faculty maintain productivity and personal well-being.

As a supervisor or manager, there may be times when you suspect that someone's job performance is being affected by personal problems. Under these circumstances, you may suggest and encourage the individual to seek assistance through the FSAP.

If you are concerned about a staff or faculty member who is in a crisis, call the FSAP immediately at 443-1087. After hours and weekends, contact Public Safety at 711.
